In 1985 I bought, by coincidence, the one-year-old Newforest mare Nadja IV.
She became the first brood-mare of my little stutery with the prefix Blåberget - Blue Mountain in english.
Earlier I had mostly been engaged in swedish half-bloods. I owned a mare, Jadwiga, which I used for breeding. Half-bloods deserve their credits, but very soon I realized ponies, and particularly Newforest ponies, are delightful "little" horses. They are excellent to ride on, even for an adult. In 1988 my first Newforest foal was born and after that it has been going on with a new foal once in a while. Today I am the owner of four Newforest ponies, one of them lent out. Nadja had five foals and was very highly merited before the she was stricken by illness. Sadly enough she never recovered and a couple of years ago we had to put her to sleep. |

Blåberget´s Nancy is a very nice riding-horse of suitable size, 147 cm (at least suitable for me).
Blåbergets Nina.
In 2001 the future brood-mare and driving-pony Månstorps Gloria arrived to the stutery. She is of pure and noble Shetland hereditary a. Gläntans Domino RS 314 - The fastest shetland trotter in the world and a multiple SM- & elite race winner, u. the diploma mare Furunäs Gun-Boj RS 3560.
